This was painted using quality high pigment acrylic paints and acrylic mediums, it was built up in many layers, the lower layers creating a subtle marble/watercolour affect of bluish greys, aqua teal and pale green, the upper layers are painted in a impasto style using thick but pourable gold, aqua and silver grey acrylic paints, inks and mixed acrylic medium so the paint stands out from the canvas in ridges, mounds and flowing lines creating a tactile as well a visual effect .
